This classic cocktail has stood the test of time — think Prohibition Era. When bathtub gin was the beverage du jour, a splash of citrus and a hint of honey went a long way to smother the stench of subpar gin. Fast forward almost 100 years later and even with quality gin like Jōcassee’s on hand, that old lemon-honey twist really hits the spot.
- 2 oz Jōcassee Gin
- 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 oz honey simple syrup (1:1 honey to water)
- Lemon twist garnish
Add all ingredients to your shaker except for the garnish. Shake with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
